I’m very excited to travel to Hanoi this end of April, although I’m sure 7 days are not enough to be immersed deeply in her culture and environment. Hopefully, I’ll be able to visit the key places during my stay there.

My itinerary for this trip will be:

Day 1

  1. Fly from Singapore to Hanoi
  2. Take mini shuttle from Airport to Hanoi ($2USD)
  3. Go around Old Quarter
  4. Stay in Hanoi Backpackers Hotel ($7.5 AUD)
  5. Update: Join the bicycle critical mass event at St. Joseph’s Cathedral (8PM).

Day 2

  1. Visit Mai Chau ($60 USD)
  2. Sleep in Mai Chau
  3. Package is from Hanoi Liberty Hotel.

Day 3

  1. Leave Mai Chau
  2. Join my friend.
  3. Attend the Couch Surfing weekly hangout at Ifeel Cafe, 63 Cau Go

  5. Update: Join some couchsurfers in trying the insect food (ant eggs, crickets, etc.)

Day 4

  1. Full day city tour.
